Event photography

At an event I work in the background: I don’t direct, I watch. I catch the toast, the voice that breaks during a speech, the stage lights and the small gestures between guests — the evening as it really happened.

I have photographed concerts, corporate events, birthdays and family gatherings. We agree the programme’s key moments and the must-have group shots in advance, and I bring my own kit to work with whatever light the venue has.
